Horrible customer service

I just got off of the phone with "Customer Support" after being on hold for 28 minutes to even get through to a person. In speaking with the customer service rep we figured out there were 2 accounts associated with my email (one was .com and the other had a typo .con).

The email with the typo was the issue and why I was confused why I was still getting shipments. I explained to the woman that when I placed my order originally it must have been the email with the typo xxxx@***.con, because I never received a order confirmation, etc. from Honest Co. Therefore, thinking something was done incorrectly and the order must not have processed since I hadn't received any communication regarding my order via email.

I returned to the website and redid my order, at which point I used the correct address xxxxx@***.com (never realizing the first time I typed it in incorrectly). Upon receiving our first shipment, we received and were charged for the a 2nd box days later and I assumed is was just a glitch in the system and went on and cancelled my subscription under xxxx@***.com (the only email I assumed was associated with my orders). The next month (October) I received another shipment and tried to call Honest Co. to figure out why I was still getting shipments when I had cancelled my subscription (since I already received 2 boxes), upon being on hold for over 20 minutes I hung up and figured I would call back a different day and forgot about it.

When I received another shipment in November I called again, was on hold. I called 3 separate times each time never getting through to a person after being on hold for over 20 minutes. Therefore I sent an email explaining there was an issue and I kept getting shipments etc etc. After several days I received a response to which I responded back and another 3 days have passed with no response.

I called and as I stated above waited 28 minutes to get through to a person, only to have her tell me, after we determined there were 2 emails, one having a typo, that it was "against company policy to have 2 accounts associated with my email" as if I intentionally typed my email address wrong because apparently I have nothing better to do then to waste my time calling and emailing to try and get this figured out. To get to the point, it was quite possibly the most frustrating experience. You'd think Honest would take a little extra time to make sure their customers are satisfied rather than accusing people of trying to "scam" them (mind you I PAID for the products received).

Will NEVER deal with them again. Their product is not that great to compensate horrible customer service.

I also paid for an order of items with Honest Beauty, and It took 18 days to not even be delivered here!! Part of it was UPS problem!

But I said go ahead and send it, and she said OH IM SORRY WE'RE OUT OF THE GLOW BALM. I ordered this stuff on December 10,2018 and it NEVER said they were out of stock with this stuff!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

NEVER SAID THAT WHEN I ORDERED. USUALLY THEY WILL TELL YOU WE ARE OUT OF STOCK OF THIS ITEM. NOPE IT WAS AFTER THE FACT THAT DECIDED TO GO AHEAD AND TAKE IT OUT OF MY CREDIT CARD. DON'T LET HER FOOL YOU, THIS STUFF SUCKS.

SO DOES THE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

SHE IS MORE INTERESTED IN THE BUCK SHE MAKES THEN MAKING CUSTOMERS HAPPY! DONT PURCHASE

I first learned of this product via a boutique Whole Foods where the senior manager of health/whole body products raved that their products outranked by far Dr. Hauschka for all similar products at a far better price point.

But when I tried their high-end shampoo first (which is truly amazing ) and then other products (by now have used many), I came to agree that Honest co. products are elite products at better price point than their competition. I have since also been a consumer both via Amazon and their own Honest website. (Note!

If you use Honey discounts at the Honest Co. website, you even pay less than Amazon; those savings are incredible.) There is NO WAY these are "honest" reviews are honest. I've now had many interactions with this company ,customer service, different vendors, and even one with corporate. (UPS had made a huge mistake with my order--the Honest Co, replaced it and refunded the full order.

An order of almost $80, given to me for free, due fully to a clear UPS mistake. My interactions on the phone: sweetest people EVER. Many of the cleaning category (personal and home) also last forever as they are FAR more concentrated and rich/luxurious than other products, and with better ingredients work better so you need less. One employee just answered a Q via email, very quickly I will add, closing the note with "have a delightful day." Given that I have now had so many consistently positive interactions with this company there is no way all of these "pissed" reviews are true.

(Not to mention, what kind of a person is drawn to a "pissed review" forum to complain?) I am left only thinking that most of these negative reviews are either people who are aligned with their competition and who want them to fail. It's the sad reality of dirty business/competition, companies can hire people to pepper all of this dishonesty to harm good people, a good company. From the business end I've heard the company compared to Nordstroms, in the way they care so much about hiring nice people, and customer satisfaction. If you do any company research it's also abundantly that they chose their name because they wanted to set this high-standard for themselves.

They already are working on outreach community programs aligned to their company mission statement.

(It took Starbucks YEARS to jump on that bandwagon.) They had some minor setbacks that they immediately owned and corrected (in an era where it's almost trendy to lie and not apologize, or take responsibility.)

I found this site by fluke, when trying to find a forum to post a positive review for them. Glad I did so I can be a voice of fairness to stave off bullies and balance these slander reviews which I can't imagine are true given so many different positive experiences I've had with this company, and heard by those working more closely in their industry.

Worst customer service!

Trying to get in contact with a person from your company. I need to stop an order!

This is even worst than I thought. Even this venue sucks!!!!!! I would never recommend this company to anyone. Good products but very poor customer service.

Also, the website is a joke.... But it was not

Worst customer service

I did not receive my bundle after my address was printed incorrectly by their warehouse. This is the third automatic month so my address doesn’t automatic change in the system, my apt number was probably cut out in the print out.

The customer service insisted i had the wrong address and it was my fault. So this is after waiting 35 minutes to speak with a customer service than ended up hanguing in my face. Their email says they have 72 hour wait period and their online chat in unavailable. I sent email to explain the situation and trying to get a expedited shipping.

Instead a receive an email saying that the customer service was right it was the wrong address. They never apologize for this inconvenience and they said I misunderstood what the customer service said . First of all don’t defend each other without apologizing to the customer. You couldn’t have said it was under investigation the issue as that’s what UPS says intead of saying that the company is right and the customer is wrong even when I am on the automatic shipping for three months.

It was very poorly handled and it did not even ask if I was satisfied with the email either. It just said have a great week instead of “if you have any other questions or concern please reply but nothing. Super cold and cruel and unprofessional.

I am really disappointed at how they handled such a small issue. It could have gone in better directions if they just acted a little more humble.

The Honest Company is not very honest to customers.

When you call the number for the Honest Company nobody answers the phone I have been waiting for someone to answer the phone for over 40 minutes & no luck. The reason I waited that long was cuz the answer machine says "your call will be answer in the other it was receive"

"Live chat"takes another 50 minutes & they don't solve the issue or they don't even try.

I did temp work for them recently. Nobody in customer service stays longer than 6 months.

Even the manager of the department has been there less than a year.

They have discontinued more products than they offer, and still list them on their website. Many of the best selling items are always out of stock, including popular diaper prints

It is okay that I didn't like the products. It was the deplorable customer service that I could not take.

They took hundreds of dollars and made sure it was impossible for me to reach them to discuss returning it because my skin was not reacting well. I waited weeks for an email and over 30 minutes multiple times to try to speak to someone before having to give us every time. I feel like this company does not care about its consumers because I tried multiple times on different days and different times of the day.

This was not a coincidence, they just took my money and had no interest in my experience or speaking to me ever again.

I will never use their products again and connect recommend this company to anyone. Which stinks...because I really like Jessica Alba and the mission of the company.

Product Return, Customer Service availability & time to receive order

I have two products to return to the Honest Company. An eye shadow and magic balm.

1. I received a request for product review long before receiving product - it took an extensive amount of time to receive simple order

2. no return label or insert in the order providing instructions for returning items

3. the customer service hours phone and live chat are an extremely poor example of customer service.

4. I submitted an e mail inquiring how to return items and the process and have never received a reply.

I want to return these items and am hesitant to order again with this difficulty in making a return. I have never come across a situation so difficult to make a return.

Defective diapers missing a tab

Thought I’d give this company a try and really love their skin care and make up. HOWEVER, they don’t allow you to cancel your own orders and you have to call them to cancel.

Well, for the last three days, I have been on hold with a 30 minute wait time, only to have the 30 minute wait time expire and a new recording pop up saying the wait time is now 60 minutes. The chat did the same thing, I was 40th in the queue 3 times and when I was next it popped up and said I was now 55 in the queue!

This has happened regardless of the day or the time. So if it is required that you contact them for returns and they blow you off, what is your recourse?
